Informing Black Voters in Georgia with the Cobb African American Caucus

This is a Better to Speak Communications case study, to highlight our previous partnerships and projects with Black community leaders and organizations.

BRAND SUITE + ASSET DESIGN • WEBSITE DEVELOPMENT + MANAGEMENT

The Challenge

The Cobb African American Caucus for the Democratic Party of Georgia was a new organization that needed brand assets at a critical time during the election cycle. With dual goals of reaching and mobilizing the Black community in Cobb County, Georgia, and securing wins for Democratic candidates – it was both culturally and politically necessary for them to launch successfully.

The Solution

Together, CAAC and Better to Speak decided on fundamental branding suite and assets, including…

  • Original logo and logo variation design

  • Social media page setup – primarily focusing on Twitter and Facebook

  • Website development

  • Branded literature

The Outcome

  • A website with key pages for election information and information for potential candidates, member sign-up and updates, photo gallery to inform folks of their community presence, and a news page to bring in new members and keep them and the community-at-large updated on local political happenings.

  • Palm cards for the Jan. 5 senate runoffs that included voter registration and absentee ballot deadlines
